How we work
Fun Boston is an independent project made in Boston. It isn't a tourism board, a city agency or a listings service, and nobody pays to appear here. If we ever run sponsored content, it will be labeled on the page.
We'd rather publish less and get it right. Weekend plans only go up after they're checked against the organizer's own page. History cites the institutions that care for each place. Guides show when we last checked them. When we get something wrong, we fix it and log the fix on the sourcing & corrections page.
The illustrations are original. We don't use other accounts' photos, and we won't pass off a modern or generated image as a historical photograph.
